Cyclical LA Team

Nick Warnes, Director

Nicholas Warnes (Masters of Divinity, Fuller Theological Seminary, Emphasis in Worship Theology and Art) is the founder and Executive Director of Cyclical LA.. He enjoys the regular pattern and rhythm of being both the Executive Director of Cyclical LA and being a local pastor in Los Angeles (Northland Village Church). Nick is also a recognized speaker on church planting, coach for New Worshipping Communities with the Presbyterian Church USA, on the advisory board for the Brehm Center at Fuller Theological Seminary, and an adjunct professor at Fuller Theological Seminary (church planting certificate). Nick finished his first book in 2014 with Dr. Mark Lau Branson called Starting Missional Churches: Life With God in the Neighborhood. Nick is married to Whitney and they live in Los Angeles, CA.

Jennifer Kent, Community Developer

Jennifer Kent (Masters of Arts in Theology, Fuller Theological Seminary) supports and guides the Cyclical LA team of discerners, starters, and leaders. As a birth and postpartum doula and trained as a yoga instructor, Jennifer is committed to developing individuals to reach their fullest potential. Having come out of a missionary family who planted a church in Russia, Jennifer loves investing in communities to see them thrive. She spends her free time serving in her local church and hiking in the hills above Pasadena searching for waterfalls.

Rodrigo de la Sotta, Director of Spiritual Formation

Rodrigo de la Sotta (Master of Arts in Theology, Institute for Spiritual Formation, Talbot Seminary) is the Director of Spiritual Formation for Cyclical LA. As a Coach and Spiritual Director, his passion is to help others explore how theological reflection and psychological development can have a meaningful conversation and how sacred space can be discovered in all things. He considers Chico his hometown, though his roots will always be found in his native land of Chile. He's an unashamed vinyl junkie, mediocre bourbon aficionado, and borderline hoarder of thrift store treasures.

Rebecca Farlow, Director of Online Communications

Rebecca Farlow (MA in Anthropology, University of Tennessee) coordinates the online activities of Cyclical LA. In addition to working as a web designer and consultant, she is an author and just published her first novel. You can usually find her writing in a local coffee shop.
